The “C”, which stands for Control, is marked with a line. If that line does not appear, the test cannot be used.

Saliva Antigen Test: The test result is visible within 15-20 minutes, and results displayed after 30 minutes have no clinical significance

Fingerstick Antibody Test: Results should be optimal read in 5-10 minutes. Results were invalid after 15 minutes

Saliva Antigen Test: If there is a line at the C after 15-20 minutes and no line is visible at the T, you have been tested negative for corona. Congratulations, you don’t have Corona right now.

Fingerstick Antibody Test: If only C line appears, it means that no Novel Coronavirus antibody (IgM and IgG) is detected and the result is negative

The C stands for Control. A line at the C should appear after you put drops on the tester. You know for sure that the test works properly. If there is no line at the C after a few minutes, the test is unfortunately not valid.

Saliva Antigen Test: The T stands for Test. If a line appears at the T, you are currently infected with the Coronavirus and should contact your doctor immediately to request a retest.

Fingerstick Antibody Test: The T stands for Test. If a line appears at the T, you are positive. The result means that your body has recently been in contact with the corona virus. Isolate yourself from others to keep the risk of infection as low as possible.

Contact your doctor, as the result of the test is best assessed by a designated physician, in combination with other personal clinical information.

If the test gives a positive result for IgM or IgG antibodies or for both IgM and IgG (i.e., a purple-red stripe appears on M or G or both), then the test is positive. In that case we advise you to perform a second test, this will give you a >99% accurate result. If the result is positive again, contact your doctor, as the result of the test is best assessed by a designated physician, in combination with other personal clinical information.

A positive result means that your body has recently been in contact with the corona virus. Isolate yourself from others to keep the risk of infection as low as possible.

If the antigen test result is positive, it is a clear indication that you are infected with the SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus and also infectious to others. The antigen test identifies the people who are at the highest point of the infection, when there are many virus particles in the body. You are likely to be in the first phase of the infection after the symptoms have presented. At that stage, the amount of virus particles in a SARS-CoV-2 infection is highest. This is also when someone is most contagious. So be careful and isolate yourself for the next ten days (quarantine).
